May Week

has been surprisingly busy, so I now have a backlog of posts and am off in a few minutes for two weeks without internet. I hope you all have a wonderful couple of weeks, and I promise I’ll post all about May Week when I get back!

Toad in the Hole

Another tick off my “British Food to Eat” list, thoughtfully provided by the Newnham buttery.

This is sausages baked in Yorkshire pudding batter with gravy and potatoes. If I haven’t mentioned Yorkshire puddings before… they are nothing like puddings but possibly from Yorkshire. I’m honestly not sure what they’re made of, but they’re starchy chewy bread-type things that are usually cup-shaped so as to hold more gravy.

And yes, I’m eating at my desk. 40 hours until the Final Deadline. Don’t ask how I’m doing. AHHH
